making some racket from inside........ I haven't heard it myself, the guy I am going to make the swap for just gave me a brief descriptinon. I guess he just put a new transfer pump, turbo and a bunch of other stuff on it and it just didn't impress him like his other truck with a 454 does. He is interested in selling the 6.5, not sure what he wants for it. I have another friend that has a good crank for a 6.5 turbo too.

I don't understand people that have a diesel and expect it to perform as quietly as a gas motor, or even to be exactly like a gas motor. Of course it's noisy...it's a diesel/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

To each his own though...it sure won't be the first diesel to gas swap in history. Good luck with it!

Should be pretty easy to do. You will have do some wiring but I dont think it would be that bad.
