I'm not too much of a mechanic. What all is entailed. How long does something like this take. I'll have the donor vehicle when I do it. What do I need to take off of it? Anyone want to help me? Cold adult beverages for free.

Which is easier: Swapping this donor vehicles motor into my rig or swapping all the tbi stuff over to mine?

....my god man, you are on a "posting" binge /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I'm gonna do this same thing in the next couple of months. I've got a donor FI out of an '88. Gonna put it on the Ugly Green thang!

Which is the better motor? Use it in your K5, or rebuild the moter with the TBI already on it and then just swap it into your K5. With proper preperation - either one could probably be done in a couple of days (very full time). (Or a couple of months very part time)
