I am seriously thinking about installing a diesel and taking out the gasoline in my 84 K5. Manual trans. I can pick up a diesel K5 with auto trans here and just do a body swap. What's the opinions on a swap? What size diesel? Dependable. Troublefree running....
Costs? 6.2's are plentful here in Korea. But I have heard many horror stories.

The 6.2l has a bad rap but most of it is unfounded.
I love it and I am putting one in my crewcab where the 350 gas engine was.
It's pretty easy for someone like me, and well worth the effort.
