Sway Bar Diameter*****DELETE************

    I need to buy some swaybar bushings and want to know the O. D. on my 82 K5. I am planning on replacing the bushings when I put my swaybar disconnect on...Jason I got them yesterday thanks for all the help guys......Jason

    You'll need to measure yours to be sure. Over the years GM used 2 different sizes, 1 1/8" & 1 1/4".

    I assume you are buying ORD QD's.....
    If you are, just buy your new sway bar bushings from them as well....

    yes I am but already bought the disconnects and not the bushings duh so i am putting them in this weekend and needed the bushings now. I got them this after noon thanks guys

    After 18 years of messing around and dismantling all these GM trucks, I have yet to see that rare 1 1/8" sway bar. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Every one of them has always been the larger 1 1/4" bar. I'm still skeptical of the smaller bar though. I've only read about it from the poly bushing manufacturers sites. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
