Swaybar disconnects

    I had my first real test of my truck with the swaybar disconnected today. Man what a difference. The front axle moves a lot more now. I think I am going to have to look and see if my shocks are long enough now, I doubt they are. I had previously taken a sledge hammer to my inner fender and beat it back as far as I could and I still have a rub mark as big as a pie plate from tire contact. I don't think I am going any bigger with my tires, maybe wider & more agressive (Swamper SX) though. This is on 35 BFGs with 4" of lift and major fender trimming. Hopefully someone in the club got some pictures, if they did I will post them.

    I can't do that to both of them. I am thinking about making my own inner fender from where the back bend starts. Still thinking about how much metal to leave on the '73.

    Well to make things interesting I bought a 88 K5 Silverado!! Now I have 2 Silverados, and 1 Siera Classic
