I'm pretty sure that guy is on CK5. He is also on PBB. Pricy stuff but he does all the modifications and I think the price includes a Disc brake conversion and converting from torque tube to a more traditional set up. Watch for the TTC. RyeGuy has his mog axled K5 in it.

What are you talking about? So, he is Canadian, just as the link that you posted confirmed. Someone posted somehting aobut shipping from Germany. Dont have to ship from Germany to get the axles. They are in Cananda.

Rob Bryce is Canadian..Tibus is from Germany. Two different guys.

Ryeguys axles are MOG...Tibus axles are pretty modified MOG.

If you check the killer axle site you'll see that the axles are FOB New York...not Germany.

Stock MOG axles have the pumpkins very close to center which means you need a lot of lift to run them and not have driveshaft clearance issues. The Tibus MOG axles are offset like a Chevy and don't need as much lift. As for strength, well the MOG's in stock form have multiple low ranges, deisel power and 40" tires...but at least they weigh twice as much as a Blazer. They would be plenty strong enough!

His K15 was in the August issue of Petersen's 4 wheel & Off road. Here are some facts from the article:

Daniel Tibus built the K15 and had it shipped over to Moab for the Easter jeep Safari. He runs 39.5x15-16.5 inch Swampers that cost $700 a piece in Germany. Also says that the Hummer T-case has not held up.

The guy from Canada is one of the top ten finishers for the "top truck challenge" and his rig can be seen in the october issue of Four Wheeler. I love my subscriptions /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I was just helping to clear things up. His K15 does have a sticker for his website on the door. www.tibus-offroad.com. It's on page 25, featured as a "desert dog"
