switc on firewall,. green wires

    on this 81 C-10 305 ESC system th350 there is a switch thing yof some kind mounted at top of firewall betweeen brakes booster and center of firewall at about above the LH valve cover and it has light and dark green wires attached to it and about a 7/32" vacuum hose runs to it too. any ideas what part of emissions it is and what vacuum sourcew it shouldf recieve- manifold or ported ?

    That is the MAP sensor Manifold Absolute Pressure.
    My guess is the manifold?

    no, not the MAP,. its mounted elsewhere, i was told its my TCC switch for th350 torque converter lockup,

    Then it's also on the manifold. There is a hard line on the right back side of the carb if I recall right.

    Based on vintage and tranny, (along with the 700R4 setups I've seen) it's likely the TCC vac switch, and should be manifold vac.

    I think ESC only used the knock sensor...
