How big a job is this and how expensive?
contact 90blzr, he is the source for such parts. I just ordered a 35-spline kit from him, and he price matched a www site I found... not bad. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
If your talking about a front D60, it's easy. All you need is 2 axle u-joints, 2 35 spline stub axles and a set of 35 spline locking hubs. No different than when you have to change an axle joint, you just put it together with the new stubs and hubs. Nothing custom or tricky, it's all a direct swap.
Ehhhhh.....rough estimate/blind guess $200 for the hubs...$300 shafts ....$40 ujoints ...$80 bearings/seals.
Hey, thanks guys. I am changing axle joints tommorow, and hopefully an axle swap. I appreciate the info.
that price is way high you should be able to get stubs hubs u joints for about 350 give or take a bit
Does it really make that much of a difference in strentgh?
