switch to TBI

    hey just loookin for some input on this.
    i have an Silverado in great shape wiht a re-done body 3 months ago and 8" lift. anyway i have a wiring harness, tbi, all the sensors and the computer outta my 87 TBI blazer. The blazer is gone and the motor was toast but im thinkin bout swichin over from the quadrajet to the throttle body. anyone done somthin like this. is it worth it or should i just get a new carb, cam and intake?

    Fuel Injection is very worth it. You need to find an intake manifold for the TB to go on or possibly get an adapter.

    Do a search if you can and there is lots of info here on TBI conversions. I personally went from carb to TPI (tuned port injection) and I love the results. I would never go back to a carb on my truck.

    I agree - DO IT ! It is an ALL weekend project ( by the time you run fuel lines / pump and such ) but it is worth it when your done . Tom
