I am getting a ringing type noise out of my driveline on my 89 Jimmy, which has been lifted 6 inches. I beleive this is coming from the driveshaft when I back off of the throttle at speeds above 55 mph, has anyone experienced this?Should a SYE and CV type driveshaft cure this problem? Are there other fixes for this problem? How do I get the measurements for proper driveshaft length?

A c/v shaft by itself will cure what ails ya. A SYE would be nice to have, but more $$$. Any driveline website should tell you the proper way to measure. Have you lowered your T-case yet? This fixed most of my vibrating problems with 5 1/2'' lift
