IIRC no one makes a SYE for a 208. I could be wrong though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know about compatabilty with the HI e-brake but I believe you can steal the parts for the SYE off of a Dodge 208.

One driveline shop has a kit that basically is just a flange that slips onto the output shaft. You have to then drill and thread a hole in the output shaft for a bolt to hold the flange on. Then you can bolt up a driveshaft to that. I'll see if I can find the link.

edit: Here is the link http://www.driveshaftsuperstore.com/slip_yoke.htm

I want to go with a SYE for my 208 but I heard some bad things about that company so I am undecided right now.

Do a search on this and K10ANDYHAMNIC(sp?)
He has used dodge parts to do this conversion. There is one little part that needs to be welded to the inside of the case...other than that I think it is a bolt on.

What about a SYE in a 241? Is this possible using dodge parts? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
