Anyone seen it? I went to it last night and it's very interesting, not traditional in terms of film style or plot but a great movie because of it.

What do you think of it?

Haven't seen it yet but it's on my to-do list. I watched the interview with Clooney & the CIA operative who advised him during filming. Looked pretty interesting.

I hate to see one penny of my money go into George Clooney's pocket, so I probably won't see it. Nor will I see anything with Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, etc. etc............. but, I would go see a stripper named Syriana.......

Ive heard the CIA is slimey and Hezbollah is boyscout-like... not sure I could tolerate that much BS. Prolly a good conspiracy flick for people who think "the man" is out to get them.

Jesus, it's a movie, take it as such.

You guys rail about how being PC is a bunch of crap yet when somebody swings the other way on an issue they're all out of line.

Better not buy anything, the actors might own stock in something.

Um, it's not about it being PC. Saying the CIA kills people for oil and that Hezbollah is freedom fighters is not about being "PC". I just don't want to support garbage...so I won't go see it. I could care less who made it, but if it looks like a political statement from the far left bozos, I won't go see it, if not for denying them the cash, to save myself from yelling "FOCKING HORSECHIT!" as I walk out of a movie I just spent $8 on.

BTW, I speak from experience...I tried to go see Farenheit 9/11 to give it a chance, and my above statement describes exactly what happened.

Go to it, sit through it, even if you still think the viewpoints suck it's a great film from other perspectives.

For the record Hezbollah isn't portrayed as a saving grace, and the CIA is portrayed as assasinating someone for political reasons...not exactly out of the realm of possibilities in the real world.

Dude....I spent $8 on giving liberal ****tard Michael Moore a chance....even after I already thought he was a douche. I've damaged from "alternate viewpoints", or, at least, paying for them. Someone front me the $8 to see it, and I'll see it. Till then, it's gonna have to wait till it's on USA or TBS.

It also mentions oil in the synopsis, and even the trailers...

I never saw Michael Moore's movies. Did he go on ahead and outright attack religion in general in his movies and condemn all religions in general in any of them? I bet he did.

I personally refuse to see ANY movie that a liberal had anything to do with. This includes everything from the production of the film to the individuals taking my ticket. I refuse to be corrupted and led astray..... my God, what a bunch of brainwashed, close minded, phobia stricken asshats. I really do wanna see it though.

voting with one's wallet is "out of line" now? yikes!

Im just tired of the CIA always being depicted a bunch of slimey criminal bastards as opposed to heros who help protect us from foriegn maniacs. Other than Clancy movies I can't think of a single film where a CIA guy isn't portrayed as either a) a joke (like the recent 007 flicks with the fat bastard in a hawaiin shirt) or b) a criminal scum bag. I'm just sick of it. I may watch Syriana if a friend rents it and I can borrow it or something, but I'm not gonna give those hollyweird clowns my money for it.

no...but getting all butthurt and spewing crap about a movie you haven't seen because you've heard through the grapevine that it was shot with a liberal viewpoint is...

You realize that this means everyone that doesn't drive a chevy is a shmuck too right?
