Can anyone post or email me a picture of their tcase bracket on a NP 205? The one that attaches on the passenger side of the frame to the t case to support it. I bought one of these but Im pretty sure it's the wrong one.

That is not what you wanted. It came out of my 1972 K-5 blazer with a TH350/NP205.

I've got one in a box in the garage. Its a two piece deal. I could post some pics tommorow if you wanted. more like an "L" bracket.

The TC bracket is the same for 465/205 or T350/205. When I changed my 70 K5 from a T350/205 to 465/205 I reused the crossmember and TC mount. Used the same drivelines too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That's what I was talking about but Im not sure why it doesn't look like it will work on mine. I'll cut it and weld it to make it work if I have to. Thanks for getting it to me quickly.

I changed my 70 K5 from a TH 350/205 to a 465/205 also. I used the same crossmember but the front driveline wouldn't work, different flange on it.

I guess that ya'll did not have to relocate the crossmember.

No you don't they made the adapter longer to put the TC in the same place behind the SM465 as it was in a truck with a T350.

Yes, the t-case is in the same place but the flange that the driveline mounts to is different. My 205 is out of an 81 Blazer so maybe the flange changed through the years. The length of the shaft was fine it just wouldn't mount up.

Here's the one I have... I got it off a 70-72 truck, but it was a hodge-podge of this'n'that. It did have a TH350/NP205 combo.

Thats what it looks like. I have that setup on my '70. Energy Suspension make new bushings for it too. I got my bushing set from Summitt Racing.
