NP203 converted part-time.. while in 2 HI I turn the yoke on the case and it makes a clinking sound as I turn it.. kinda like gear teeth meshing .. same sound but quieter while the case is in neutral.. Do I need to adjust the linkage?? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

I recommend pulling the tail section. If your driveshaft is already disconnected, it's real easy with the t-case in the truck. I found some shrapnel in mine and ended up pulling it all apart. Hopefully you will be able to see what the problem is by pulling the tail housing (the aluminum part) from the rear and see what is going on in there. You may have a bad part time kit in there that is coming apart.
