I have the opportunity to buy a 1980 3/4 4x4 with the T400/205 setup, 14 bolt rear, dana 44 front, less engine. I am curious if these parts are still in demand. Truck is very rough but drivetrain is complete and appears sound. I think I can buy the truck less engine for less than a grand. Any input is greatly appreciated!

definately still desireable..... all that drivetrain would be perfect for a 3/4ton conversion on someones truck or blazer, or even separate as parts... Id snag it

The 205 is slip yoke, not really desirable, but can be converted to fixed output.
