My tailgate wont go up that last 1"-3/4". I am inda confused cause it worked great up till now. I cant see anything in the track. It stops dead even if I push up on the lift arms. The motor is a new gm unit. Any suggestions?

Its greased. I coated the rails and tracks with moly and then heat brazed it to get the moly to stick/coat the metal. Then applied grease to the rollers and tracks. Butter smooth just wont go up. Looked at the seal too no bumps or anything. Really confused about this one.

If you pull/wiggle the window while trying to power it up, will it go? Mine does that with like 4-5" left; I think it gets hung in the tracks or something...

Mine did the same thing. The bottom channel that the window is glued into was hitting the motor. I had to bend the motor away from the window just a little bit and it has worked fine since.

Hmmm... I dont know about the track movement Jarhead will take a look at it tommorow. I am curious about the motor being bent in a little more as well.

Be sure your top is lined up right. Mine did that once and I loosened up the top bolts and moved it around till the window would go all the way up then tightened them back down.

I think Moab is on track (pun intended...[IMG]) usually when the window stops dead without making it to the top its geting hung up on something. There's not that much room between the moving parts in there.
