Ok I'm trying to find the plastic panel that mounts to the inside of the tailgate.Did GM actually make that part or am I just loosing it. I saw one and thats what started me looking for one because my K5 doesn't have one. If there's a question to exactly what it is, its apanel similar to the front door panels except on the tailgate, made of plastic, and covers the paint on the inside of the gate. It did they make this part or did I see a custom piece?

You aren't losing it /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif, there is an aftermarket piece that has been promised for over 3 years now from Skyler (of soft top fame) at http://www.skylercorp.com/ (look under 'unique accessories) that now says due in 'Spring of 2001'.............glad to see their webmaster keeping the page updated /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif. That was what I wanted but I think I'm just going to get a quart of black Herculiner.

YUP thats what I thought, I am loosing it. Actually it was the rhino lining idea which started this. A friend of mine does the lining and said he would spray the inside of the gate for me. then I saw a panel and thought it might look nicer. Oh well I guess I'll have him line it for me. Thanks
