The rack that holds the window if bent to hell. So I need a new one and get the stuff to hold the window on the rack.

So I'm in the LMC catalog and the pictures are Window Sash and Glass Filler? Is this what I need to repair so I can get back to hauling parts?

Yes, those would be the parts you need unless when the track bent it bent the regulator too. Is the Channel ok? The thing the window runs down on the side?

if you've got ducttape, then don't buy the glass filler. when i replaced my sash i just put about 3 or 4 layers of duct tape on the window. just put enough on there so that it fits tight in the sash. mines been holding for over a year and half now.

I don't know if the regulator is bent up also. Everything else does appear okay though.

Does it go up and down smoothly? If so odds are the regulator is ok.

It goes down. It was going up, but I think the window started to come off the sash, and it would stick and I would have to go back there to align it, then it would go up all the way.

I really got it up to speed up at Hollister this past weekend a couple of times, and hit some stuff at speeds that I shouldn't of, so it got banged around pretty good, so I think it just did the whole thing in and then the sash got bent from rolling the window down. Too bad they didn't make something like the Ramchargers had.

On m driver and passenger side windows I filled the sash with silicone and set it on the window. Give it a day to cure and install it. It grips really well. /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

I replaced a sash once and used an adhesive sealant to glue the window in place. It worked very well. I'd recomend getting new felt for the side tracks though...they really help keep the window aligned properly on the way up and down. Usually the felt wears or is gone altogether and then the window assembly will catch on the regulator parts on the way up...
