Sorry guys I did a search on this but couldnt really find a good answer so here it goes. My tailgate wont close/latch unless I have it real close and just push it real hard. Even if I try "flingin" it up real hard it just bounces back at me. The latches are in the right position. Once I get it closed the left side can be pulled unlatched. Havent done anything to mess up the alignment that I know of. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I just today finished some work on my tail gate. It would not close right either. I lubed up all parts and it worked fine. It was REAL stubborn to close...and now it closes all the way with ease.

    Just a suggestion.
