at what the popping noise is right before i hit the noise
Sounds like a stick or something.
and by the looks of the vid, someone needs a locker or two.
Have no idea what the sound was, but with a little more forward motion and alot more throttle....you woulda made it. I've never seen a whole lot of people successfully crawl through a bog.
Maybe someone HAD a locker.
it kinda sownds like when i broke one of my rear axle shafts but when i broke my axle it seemed alot louder...mabey because i blew tranny at the same time as the axle. <-- it was weak stuff any ways.
where did u get that bumper? and how much did it cost?
i looked at the vidio again and it does not sound like my axle. Is your U-Joint goin out?
there are two smaller clicks right before the loud click,,,play the vid over and over and over from right before he hits the water,,,sounds like a locker bangin into lock or something trying to "adjust" with the suspension movement.
bro u need to turn the wheel more when your in mud, prolly coulda made it through
That would be my guess.
no locker, i honestly have no clue what it was, i know that one of the spiders in front is missing a tooth.....i didnt do too bad for my first time
well the reason i was crawlin throught it was because the water was deep.....
this video is the same thing, but its when i went through it, i got stuck coming back through
where did u get the bumper? and how much did it cost?
I think it was a little kid in the woods shootin' a bb gun at a soda can. Listen to it a bunch of times and keep that in mind.
Seriously though your truck is lookin' good man, some day I'll get out there and post up a vid for you guys to ridicule me on my driving.
Hey man, if that was your first time you did pretty good. Just remember and i think someone already said it, keep your tires moving side to side and really try not to stop. Unless you have lockers front and rear with some really knarly tires, you gotta keep that forward momentum up.
I go wheelin with a worn out G80 and an open front with 3.73's and 33" Pro Comp MT's....i gotta use all the tricks just to keep mine above the goo. Looks like you took a different approach on your way back through when you got stuck, it appeared you hit a deeper spot on your first line but it may have had a harder bottom. When you came back through it looked like you hit some really soft stuff. Bet ya had fun.
BTW, your trucks really coming together man....more of a trail rig than mine will probably ever be.
hey thanks guys for all the comments, you bet your @$$ i had fun!!
Hey you can see my truck in the second video! Thats also me on looking too.

also on page 18 too
Bored at work sorry. Cool video man. Next time you hit that chit, mat it as soon as you start getting deep in front. I've tried going slow through creeks, and it don't work. Getting stuck because you broke something sounds cooler than gettin stuck becuse you didn't give it enough gas. Kevin
that looks like a warn classic mount front bumper...... and I have no idea what the noise was. If its in the drivetrain it will show itself sooner or later
