Had to go talk to my boss today about a couple things. Once I was done with what I came to see him about, he said he had something to talk to me about. Oh ****, I thought, I have been rather pissy lately, every job has been turning into living nightmares, figured I was going to be questioned about this.

Long story short, the boss gave me $1.33 per hour raise. This is the second time this year he has given me a raise.

I was sort of thinking when he told me the amount, why it was such an odd figure. He goes on to say that I am now the highest paid employee he has (most likely only buy a few cents an hour, hence the strange amount). He also added that as of now I am the lead Tech.

Being told that I am the lead Tech. is so much better then a raise, but to get a raise and be told I am the lead Tech has really made my day.

The amazing thing is, not long ago, 4 1/2 years ago to be exact, I left MI with literally the shirt on my back after my divorce.

I moved back to my hometown area, and spent 6 months feeling sorry for myself. One day I woke up and said f#ck this BS. I have not looked back since.

I always will remember just how fast you can lose what you have, believe me it is real fast! On the other hand, I will always remember just how fast you can gain it back, and then some.

Ugh, we're supposed to get it too.

Eh well, snow wheeling is fun...which is exactly why I ditched a full-bodied rig to build a buggy without a heater. :doah:
