Anybody know a part number for an adaptor to utilize the '88 TBI onto an older mid-70's BBC while running an Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold?

Should be one from Edelbrock or Holley, but I can't find anything.

And no, I don't plan to swap the intake for a correct TBI one either. Wanna keep the Air Gap and still run the TBI.

Wes, I've got one of the factory 454 TBI adaptors. It adapts a TBI to a factory Q-Jet intake. I'm pretty sure that it will only fit a spread bore intake though. But if it'll work for ya, I'd part with it pretty cheap. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'm going to use a 454 TBI for this very reason. It's a bolt on to a spread bore Quad. Got most of the parts in the garage. Just need to start working on it.

Harry, since you mentioned spreadbores, will it fit the squarebore manifolds at all? I've got the RPM Air Gap intake and its the squarebore pattern only. If it won't work for my intake, go ahead and let Grimmy have his shot at it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I get the hint you want this adaptor, too, right? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Fear not, if Harry's adaptor won't fit my squarebore Air Gap intake, it's all yours Grimmy. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The factory adapter only has a single set of bolt holes and I'm pretty sure that the square bore pattern is different. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif It also tapers out to feed properly to all the intake holes on a spread bore pattern.
