Hey does anyone know if you can make a carb plate adapter to install a late model throttle body on an early intake?Or can you modify the intake(late model) by welding the holes shut and redrilling them to match the early style heads?

I believe Holly makes a adaptor. Or it might be Edelbrock. And you can machine out the holes on the intake to fit the heads.......Dan

If it ain't broke.......Don't fix it....

I'd be real careful about welding the plate since that kind of heat will likely distort it and give you all kind of grief when you try to get a seal back on it.
