I started on the swap last night. Got the tb and adaptor on, fuel lines ran, Distrib. in and the new wiring harness ran. Just need to drop the tank put the new sending unit in and hook up the fuel lines. Also welding an O2 sensor and plug the wiring harness into the firewall.

Well no more installing. Its done and she runs like a champ. Really woke my truck up. Throttle response is so much better than my holley carb. If getting my chip burnt will increase performance then this will be by far the best mod I've done. I put it on, the 42s, and some fender trimming. She feels really strong on the open road even with the 3.73 gears. Just need to get the new 5.13s off the shelf and in then I'll be happy.

Throttle body, fuelpump/sender and all wiring came in a parts truck I bought.
This is the cash out of my pocket I spent. I parted the truck and made money so bascially it didnt cost me anything but heres what I bought.
    $18 o2 sensor
    $9 water temp sensor
$47 for the 4 barrel to tbi adaptor
$36 FI rated rubber fuel line
$5 in misc. nuts, bolts, fittings.
    $5 tbi gasket

Still going to get a chip burnt. Guy has quoted me anywhere from $74 to $154.

That picture DOES NOT due those tires justice. I compared the measurement I took off of yours to mine today and I am just disgusted now. Welp, I guess I will have to just go out and get some 49" IROKS.................... I want this to be on my epitaph, "I got 49's........." Cause the wife would kill me if I did that.

I will just start typing littl ein your posts now......

J/K Looks good. Wish I could have rode in it on Saturday. I WILL FIRE MINE UP THIS WEEK.

Thanks James. I don't know what I was thinking when I removed the gas tank before you got there. I could have had it back together before you arrived but I didn't figure in the time it took to go get the parts for the vent tube. Actually had it in and going about 30mins after you left, guess I could have done it while you were there but didn't want to be rude and waste that valueble BS time. Anyway I hit the ramp out back and everything went to $hit, blew a header gasket, and later that night found out the alternator wasn't working. I had another gasket set but had to wait until sunday to get a new alt. All three spares I had wouldn't put out.
