    just wondering how hard it was and what it all took parts weise. im having electrical problomes and i want to eimintae the ecm all l togeather,

    As long as you keep it conservitive it is pretty easy to do and won't take long.
    Parts list
    HEI distributor, will need a dedicated 10ga wire
    Carburetor, find one that came equipped on a 305 or 350.
    Manifold, either a stock iron one, an Ebrock performer or the Weiand action plus. Those 2 are stock replacements.
    You will need to replumb the fuel system and install a regulator on the pressure line, carbs only need about 8 psi.
    The basic wiring for the engine would be the coolant/oil wires, distributor wire, and the alternator wires.
    Besides cleaning out the wiring and such I think that covers it.
