<font color="blue">Why not just reprogram the ECM to compensate for your engine?

[/ QUOTE ] ok, im finding that the internals arent, especially the pistons, seems that they are dished for lower compression /forums/images/icons/confused.gif /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

I guess my question is are you going through this block or what,If so do a set of forged flat tops even a cheap set of trw are better then stock. The rods are 5.7 there were some differances in some of the rods from what I understand,I always replace with a luniti rod Even the cheaper street race rods hold up great,I broke a stock rod once and wiped out almost an entire motor, never again....

comp cams can custom grind a cam for your tbi set up that will work with in the ecms peramitors, precision turbo and countless other companies can most likely reformat your ecm or cut you a chip just for your specs..
Hope I am helping am unsure what info you are actualy looking for

All the stock truck 454's had very low compression ratios, at least in the 80's and '90's. Somewhere around 8.2-8.5:1. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
