    Excellent Idea!

I think it would be great. I think it will be easier to view and reply in that format.

Are you planning to set them up now or wait until the new version comes out?

OK then, how does the wording sound on everything etc. and should we add tires/wheels to one of the forums? Also, after I get this setup please do not post just to be the first one to post in the new forums mmkay.

I see lots of Wheel and Tire questions out there. I know when I start looking to upgrade, I'll be searching the boards. Sounds like a valid forum to me.

Does this mean that you'll be shutting down the main board? I mean, it looks like there won't be a need for it anymore......

I like it. Are these going to be the "member access only" limited forums we talked about earlier? So that the newbie, repeat twice a day, clueless stuff doesn't fill it up and roll the good stuff off the back? Sounds like these are going to be open. Still, I think it's a good idea as long as the moderators keep a close watch and cull as needed. Hmm, maybe that would be an idea..? Have the "tech" forums be tightly moderated. I know the main forums are pretty forgiving (and for good reason, I agree) but it would be nice if it were pretty strict for the tech forums. Just an idea...

    Steve,

IMO I'd just add tires/ wheels to the suspension forum. The majority of questions pertaining to this are "what size can I run, or can I run this with this lift" etc

WAY too complicated!!!!! Personally I think an archive of good posts would work much better or a better search feature. The search is pretty cruddy at all the message boards on the web I have seen so maybe there is a way to perfect this. Now I may not be of the majority, but I don't have a comp at work and I really don't have that fast of a net connection. It is much easier for me to just click one forum and keep going till the new post ends then to vist fifteen forums every night. Another nice thought... maybe inforce decent titles. The vauge titles are a pain. Another idea may to color code the titles in the main/tech forum. Lighting is a dark yellow, tires could be black, electrical red, engine blue, tranny green.... etc etc.... then you would have an idea what it was about.

Overall... my $.02 worth is I think CK5 is trying to become too perfect and in that process it is becoming more complicated. An FYI list that would be sticky at the top of a technical forum would be an awsome addition. I really like how the garage has filed in, dispite being a bit confused with post thrown all over in the begining, but I really feel that the main room is begining to get too broken down. Just my $.02
