I got to ride in one of these yesterday.

Banked turns at 58mph, 60 degree vertical accent and decent, 35 degree sideways bank.
Powered by a Cat diesel and backed by an Allison tranny. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time. :saweet: :woot:

the armys newest toy. well, one of them anyway. i love the trick "im lazy push the button for the spare tire to come down" deal. cool truck all in all. lots of variations out there to incluse a Single rear axle vice two. they make a VERY short single axle version i would love to have.

it does outperform the USMC's 7 ton in a few areas... but not many.

they have central tire inflaiton systems as well. the military just upped their contract to over 3k units. i'm trying to get a job working on these puppies.

these are only 2.5 and 5 ton units. there are about 14 or so configurations and two trailers.

    We have a winner!

I was out in Sealy yesterday. Not much there. I guess Katy is the closest town of substance.

    Here's a few more pics

Seeing as you were at Sealy, is the turret mounted M2 for goose hunting? :haha:
