    does anyone know if the th-350 trans. has a passing gear

    Just drops down into 2nd I'm pretty sure.

    So if it is already in 2nd gear will it stay there or will it drop to firt? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    It's not gonna drop into first when you're going 60. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif If you're in 2nd going about 20 and you slam the gas, it just might drop into first.

    The th350 has a kickdown cable that goes into the tranny right in front of the dipstick. The other end goes to the throttle body linkage which is where you can adjust it.
    On the freeway it should kick down from 3rd to 2nd when you floor it. Around town at 30mph I can get it to drop from 3rd to 1st by nailing it.
