    Hi,

I have a TH-400 in my 2wd 77 pickup. It is a fixed yolk model. Dose anyone know if I can take the tail houseing off, cut off the threads and bolt up a t-case adaptor and 205?

    Thanks
    Russ

I'm am pretty sure it will work if it's the 9 1/4" long 4x4 tailshaft you need to use.
Iceman44 is doing this exact same thing.
The only thing you won't need is the drive gear that is on that tailshaft, the speedo won't come off the tranny, it'll be off the t-case. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I am guessing that the kind you have is the second one on the top- fixed yoke with a bolt holding on the yoke.
The first 3 on the bottom row are for 4x4's assuming the 3rd one (9 1/4" long) is the one that you need it will work.
