Just swapped in a TH350 instead of the M20. I rebuilt it completely with a TCI kit. All seems well except that the kick down cable doesn't return when you pull it out. I went to set the cable adjustment and if you pull the cable out (full throttle), when you release the throttle the kick down cable stays extended-surely this is wrong?? Can anyone have a quick look and see if theirs springs back? It's a new cable too so can't see what could cause it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Mine springs back, but I believe there is a spring in the transmission itself

Thanks-thought it should. Sure I didn't miss anything out. The tranny had no cable in it when I bought it, is that where the spring sits? Maybe it dropped out before I got it-can't find any reference to it.
