Uh oh, I seem to have no forward gears. Reverse seems ok. The linkage is alright & I added some fluid but it still doesn't want to move forward. The RPM's drop when I put it in reverse but they barely move when I put into any forward gears. The fluid is not burnt & the tranny is not making any bad noises. Any thoughts? I am going to try & adjust the band this weekend.
    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

    Thanks a lot John,

I just spoke with Bob. Very nice guy & very informative. He convinced me to rebuild it myself.

Just my 2 cents, but I rebuilt mine and I had never worked on one before. It wasn't too bad, but I took my time since it was not a daily driver. I can rec a good how-to book if you want...

Is it the 'Turbo Hydromatic 350 Handbook' by Ron Sessions? I have that one but am always up for more information.

The book you need is the ATSG manual for the TH350. Available for about $20 from your transmission parts supplier. And worth every penny. And you can email me for a list of the best parts and sources if you like.

Please, let me know what parts to get & where to get them.
    Thanks,
