TH400/NP205 Question

Discussion in '1973-1991 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Apr 22, 2000.

I'm looking at getting a TH400/NP205 combo for the Burb and taking out my 700R4/NP208C !! What is the actual difference in ratio's between the two set-ups?

The main difference will be the 205 has just a 2:1 reduction and a 208 has, I believe, 2.67:1 reduct. Of course you don't have that overdrive 4th gear

  3. I want to be bullet proof and still drive it on the highway with 38's and 4:56's !
