th400 spline count

    what would be the spline count on a th400 thats coming out of a 1980 fs chevy 4x4 with a 205 attached to it??

    Definately 32 spline.

    32 spline. but just for your futer info needs some 2x4 versions came with 27 spline when thay were getting rid of supplys.

    Those were TH375's and not TH400's

    Never heard of a 375 ... is that a typo for 475? Heard of those in motor homes or something.

    Nope, a TH375 was nothing more than a light duty TH400 but with 27 spline output and some other internal differences.
