I know this has been covered before but my tranny just died and i need to replace it, and would like to go with an overdive unit(current top speed 65mph). I have a 1985 military Blazer w/6.2 diesel,TH400 and a Np 208. Anyone done this, knows whats involved, or know where to find a site that covers it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I did it in my 83 3/4 ton 350 gas burb.
Gas milage went from 8 to 10 to 12 to 14.

    Not cheep.
I got a complete set up from Mr Steve Holmes at bow tie overdrive. I also got a adapter from advance adapters and Steve put the adapter kit output shaft in the 700R4 when he built it.

Although the 700R4 is only about $1000 adding a cooler and the adapter about doubles that cost.

Go to bowtieoverdrives.com and steve can anwser any question you have.

The nice part is it is straight bolt in with the advance adapter kit.
Uses stock 208 with stock adapter no driveshaft mods and no cross member mods needed.
Jut bolt on wire up and add and adjust the TV cable.
