[/ QUOTE ] I agree, 20 years ago, AC/DC was the sh*t. As far as music go's, I tend too stay with whats modern. I guess the older music just doesn't appeal to me anymore.

Isn't that nice. The rest of us tend to stay with what's good.

From the 1976 album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap:

    BIG BALLS

I'm upper, upper class high society
    God's gift to ballroom notoriety
And I always fill my ballroom
    The event is never small
All the social papers say I've got the biggest balls of all

    CHORUS
    I've got big balls
    I've got big balls
    And they're such big balls
    Dirty big balls
    And he's got big balls,
    And she's got big balls,
But we've got the biggest balls of them all!

And my balls are always bouncing
    My ballroom always full
And everybody comes and comes again
If your name is on the guest list
No one can take you higher
Everybody says I've got great balls of fire!

    CHORUS

Some balls are held for charity
    And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure,
They're the balls that I like best.
And my balls are always bouncing,
To the left and to the right.
It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night.

    CHORUS

And I'm just itching to tell you about them
Oh, we have such wonderful fun
    Seafood cocktail
    Crabs
    Crayfish

    Stuck in the past??

A more accurate statement would be "can't find any new music that is worth a [I love Jeeps]." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good music is good music and I haven't heard a whole lot of really good musicians around lately (but I DO like the new Shania Twain DVD my wife picked up ...... it's even good on mute /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif).

Since I also like Stravinski, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky I guess that means that I'm stuck WAAAAAAY in the past.

If you want to follow the crowd and enjoy whatever someone else tells you is good then go ahead. I would rather make up my own mind.

Here are a few samples for your edification:

    Rock Candy --- Montrose

Cross Eyed Mary --- Jethro Tull (performed by Iron Maiden)

    Satch Boogie --- Joe Satriani

    YYZ --- Rush

[/ QUOTE ] I never have been one too follow a croud. Normally if I like a band, then they get poppular, I either stop listoning to them, or liston to thier songs that don't get played on the radio. I've always been different. But older music just doesn't do it for me. There are a few acception, but those would be the stuff that never got airplay. Bands like AC/DC were good 20 years ago, but way behind the times now. For modern music, I like bands like Hed PE, POD, ...ect. and older for music I'll still liston to bands along the lines of Type O Negitive, or Suicidal Tendencies, but more of the modern. When I said "Stuck in the past" most guys in my age group are still listoning to the same thing as they did in high school. I got bored with all that, heard it too meny times I guess.
