I have gotten some emails and have read the post’s. All I can say is thank you. And yes, I did walk out on one job due to the people I was working with. (it was at TWA boy did I luck out) Life is to short.

I have had a good many things to think about of late. It makes me happy to show off my truck, to take to drives and four wheel events. Now today I am to the point that I do not remember what it has for power or how much. I do know that it will not just spin but smoke all 4 from a dead stop in 2nd or 3rd high range and do it over and over if wanted.

I had a shock last night when the news came on a friend, one that had been close in the passed was shot to death in the store he worked in....................it made me think I went in and kissed my 10 month old baby girl in her sleep and the same to her 3 year old sister. Life that what maters not wither my trucks has more balls than yours.

This forum is to share thoughts and to find answers. Not to tell each other that were full of it Ok I don’t always take the time to proof read and typing does not come easy to me. Is that something to point out when were talking motors or tranys...NO. I will spend the weekend beating on my truck, taking my wife and 3 year old to the monster truck runs (she doesn’t understand why we should not go so we go) and thinking of a lost friend.

Therefore, if you want the dyno and the spec sheet send an email to
khbrown@swbell.net you will get some time next week.

One other thing and this is to all but to Steve Fox mainly I looked up most of the folks that were dishing up the most and almost all of them had nothing almost nothing in there profiles! I think that real e-mail not yahoo or hot mail accounts, names and some other basic info should be needed to sign up! It might cut down on some of the riffraff that drift though.

Ken could you please fill out your prolfile? [IMG] All it says is 'addict' and 443 posts. Or did you clear it recently when you were going to leave us?
I'm just breaking your balls a little, is that still allowed? [IMG]
I'll send you an e-mail. I'm quite interested in your dyno results. Not for the purpose of bashing or anything like that, but maybe to learn a little.

Thanks for not bailing out [IMG]

First I am sorry to hear that your friend was shot. I am a 3rd shift cashier myself and even behind bulletproof windows(I hope) and the security (recently got wrote up for going outside the doors) I still am scared. No one should live in fear of their lives or have to work in it either.

Second to Steve: How bout wif dis nice mesage board we got a speel cheker? I kan't speel sew goud so I kneed one two!!!

Third: I support having to put some info in the profiles even if some of it is fake. I know I don't want my phone nummber bouncing around the Net and other important stuff but there needs to be something...

Hope ya hang around a while blazer72

Yes I had removed the info its back now!

The loss of a friend was not the emportant thing! Its the fact that theres so much more to life than who right and whos wornge.

As bore the e-mail thingit very easy to see up outlook for more than one e-mail acount. Look it up under help with outlook open. If you need a later copy of outlook or help let me know I do it all day long.

Sorry to hear about your friend, that sucks, as long as you remember the good times he will allways be around.
To register for the forums you have to use a real email account, but that is hidden, (even though you can still use hotmail) to protect spamming. It would be nice to require that the profile be filled out, if I get some time I will see what I can do.
Also, I will do more for the site as time permits, but keep in mind I am not a computer geek, I would rather work on my K5 than work on code. :-)

Very well spoken (er.......written). LIfe is too short (as you found out) to worry about the small stuff............as the cliche goes "its' all small stuff". Remember your friend for the good times, the smiles and the friendship. Forget about the CK5 guys questioning your story, cause it doesn't matter how much power you have, it is a unique vehicle. I absolutely LOVE to show off my polished 406 TPI.........people freak when they see the hood open up. Does it matter if it has 400 horses or 500? No..........cause there is always a better truck/motor out there. Just enjoy what you have, your uniqueness and keep the focus on what is important - your family. Not the opinions of others.

Harry, I knew someone would bust be on the Software Engineer thing, yes, I am a Software Engineer, but I really don't like it, if I could do something else other than sit behind a life sucking computer for 8 hours a day that paid as well as it does, believe me I would. [IMG]

I hear ya! Loud and clear! I'd much rather have my own 4WD shop, but being in the computer biz pays too well. I've become far too accustomed to this lifestyle! [IMG]
