Posting this to thank dontoe and friends for inviting me on here. I'm the relative of dontoe's who wowed him at the recent family reunion with identifying a lot of what he had already done to his '75 Jimmy convertible top by just taking a real close look at it at the family reunion at Cherokee Lake.

Big thanks too for the free laptop! I've put it to good use already!

Yep! I'm a big anime fan too on top of being into 4x4's.

I've got a question that's bugging me. We got any members on here who've put Rockwell 2 1/2-ton axles under their Blazer or 73-87 GM truck, or are planning on doing it? I like vehicles with military hardware like that on 'em. I'm just wanting to know.

The site I link has been a little goofy today, so if something doesn't open, just click it again. :doah:

I know DP_90K5 also has a rockwell project going on right here .

I'm planning to start a Rockwell build in a couple of years but it won't be under a chevy body....or any body for that matter. :D

The pics of the K5 with the Deuce and a Half wheels looked scary! I hope that was the same vehicle in some of the other pics I saw of one that had been EXO'd (you guys know what that means right?) cause he must have a death wish or be nuts to take it wheeling in those other pics with just the body sheetmetal as rollover protection! :eek1: :eek1:

Yes, it's the same vehicle, and has a cage now.

Yeah, I think the friend in my avatar would probably really enjoy mine and dontoe's neck of the woods.

Oh! I forgot to mention! Some even more big thanks again for the laptop, because it can play DVDs!!! BIG THANKS FOR THAT!!

The DVD feature alone has made it worth it's weight in gold, as I can now take with me and watch my InuYasha DVDs whenever I have to ride out to Franklin, NC for chemo treatments. They should provide an added good bit of distraction while I'm getting loaded up, which is scheduled to happen again this Thursday.

Inu-Hanyou is Japanese for half dog-spirit, InuYasha's race (InuYasha is the anime character in my avatar). I'm a big anime fan. 1776 just simply refers to the year 1776, when this great country of ours was born!
