Dude, if you think that's cool, you should see this truck in person:

    (The shortbox that's winning)

That thing is unbelievably bad ass. The radiator is in the back with electric fans. It's one hell of a dirt drag racer. It hauls ass too!

TTB doesn't work well for anything but eating tires. I don't know why anyone would even attempt to talk it up. There's definitely a reason Ford doesn't even use it on the Rangers anymore.

You should really remove yourself from this cause that comment just showed you know nothing about building a desert truck. TTB works just find for a 4wd desert truck and if you have doubts, then ya might want to go get some learing.

Might work just fine, but there are reasons that Ford doesn't use it at all anymore. It's history for a reason.

Just a bit of advice, if you don't have any wowing bit of technical knowledge on this subject to impress us with; please take your wannbe know-it-all attitude and depart with due haste. Snide comments, let's see two in this thread and just caught one in another thread, are not really wanted, needed or pertinent to the discussions at hand. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Wow, missed this one. Want me to snap some pics of the tires on my friends '78 E250, or one of my friend's '91 F250 4x4 front tires? What kind of technical knowledge is there for me to share with you? It's a well known fact that they're hard to align and they eat tires. Anyone here talking them up would easily be able to defend that if it wasn't true, but it is.
