    Paris, France
    Chicago, IL
    Indianapolis, IN

Paris, France was incredibly breathtaking. It's the only place I've been in Europe, but I had an absolute blast while I was there! I'd love to go back some day and visit other parts of Europe, like Scottland, Ireland, England, the rest of France and Italy.

Chicago has always been a fun town for me, because one of my best friends lives there. Lots of good memories of racing down 290/294 at 3am in my old Camaro, driving him home from college. Lots of fun stuff to do downtown as well.

Indianapolis is just a neat little city.

Not too big on the huge cities, the smaller ones always did it for me.

    Taos, New Mexico
Fredricksburg or Kerrville, Tx...or for that matter, Gonzales
    Ouray, Colorado
    Silver City, New Mexico
    South Lake Tahoe, Ca/Nv
    Hot Springs, Arkansas
    Honobia, Oklahoma
    Tuskaloosa, Alabama
    C'oeur d'Alene, Idaho
    Mt Sorak, South Korea
    Waimanalo Beach, Hawaii

    Places i want to visit:
    remote parts of new zealand
    Flagstaff mesa area of Arizona
    Appalacian Trail
Grand Canyon - Hike the bottom of it
    And of course, Moab!!!

And the list goes on and on and on...

Vacation a couple of years back:

    Venice, Italy
Bologna, Italy and the Ducati factory!
    Swiss Alps
    Germany
    Amsterdam

Spent a month in northern Italy and didn't want to leave! I would go back in a heartbeat!

    *See Username, lol

I've been to plenty of US cities, and nothing beats New York. Anything you want is around the corner!
Seattle/Tacoma was a little "artsy" in some places but that's fine, I want to go back there someday.
Washington DC is nice, but I'm not into history or politics, so it's a little boring. The geograhic layout of the city is very interesting.
Anywhere in Florida (for week-long periods only, too humid!)
    Anywhere in Texas
Nashville, Tennesee (old boss working there)
Empty places in Arizona and Montana
    Grand Canyon

The place I think I'd really like to live is in the Poconos of Pennsylvania, gorgeous forestry, quiet towns, and NYC commutable soon.

Some of these aren't cities, but have been interesting, visually stunning or exciting to me:
    San Diego
    Boston
    Ogunquit, Maine
Tijuana, Mexico (you got to see it to believe it)
    Bailey's Island, Maine
    Newport, Rhode Island
    Carmel, California
    White Mountains, New Hampshire
    Bar Harbor, Maine
Atlantic City(as long as you never step out of the casino!)[IMG]

Of those states, Colorado Springs has to be the best city I have seen. [IMG]

Re: The best cities you\'ve been to?

as far as city design, you'd be hard pressed to beat the phoenix metro on a traffic layout... major streets run on the 1 mile square, with 95% of the speedlimits set at 45, only 4 oneway major streets in the valley ( downtown phoenix area) and finaly starting to get a semi effective freeway system.

cities/towns I like ( mostly confined to lower soutwest) include:
    Sedona AZ,
    Jerome AZ,
Salt Lake City UT (thier rush hour peak traffic was about like our daily offpeak traffic...)
whatever town in colorado Ft Lewis college is at (there's a steam engine that runs around the area, that woke us up every morning, with its whistle blasts at band camp.. too cool!)
Inland Empire, CA (upland/ontario area, San Bernardino county)
    Borego springs CA,

    etc.

No, I meant it's interesting, not logical. When looking at a street map, there are shapes you can see that would make you a little surprised...

I noticed Sedona a couple times. Do you like this area better than flagstaff? What's so special about it?

Sedona is awesome. The best time I had with the ex-wife was our honeymoon there. Just don't anyone mention it to the current wife. [IMG]
