OK, i dont know if you guys remember, but about a month and a half ago I got in a wreck and tore the [censored] out of some ford escort. Well, this body shop in dallas came to pick it up from my house about 3 days after the accident. Somewhere between the time they picked it up, and when i saw it about 2 weeks ago, the bastards broke one of my 210 watt Dick Cepek fog lights. They think it happened in the wreck, but i tell them no it didnt. I knew for a fact that it didnt break then, i checked, those things are a source of pride. I knew i could prove this to them, cause i took pictures before they picked it up. So i finally got them developed, and took them over there. The guy that is working on my car was not there, so i asked them to give them to him...dont worry i have doubles. So here is the problem, Dick Cepek was bought out by MT a while back, and they dont make the Cepek lights anymore. As far as i know it was just the clear plastic cover that goes over the front of the light that was broken. OK, so assuming that it is just the cover...then where can i get a replacement...or can i? and if its the whole light...then can i find one them anywhere? Here is what i think the will do, since the lights are not made anymore...they will not be able to find a replacement Cepek light, and then they will try to give me some P.O.S. 100 watt set of lights to replaceme them. Which im not going to let happen, If the new lights dont turn night into day, then i dont want them. Does anybody know of any lights of this calibur?? Thanks for your help.

Or you could try to talk the shop into buying this HID lighting system [IMG] <a target="_blank" href=http://www.kchilites.com/acb/showprod.cfm?&amp;DID=11&amp;CATID=10&amp;ObjectGroup_ID=30> KC HiLite HID </a>

If I remember right, those lights generated so much heat that they have air scoops on top to keep air flowing over the heat sinks on the back of the housing. Didn't the covers have the logo "Super Off Roader" on the front? I doubt that anyone elses covers would fit, at least not hard covers. KC may have a soft cover that could be stretched to fit, but the air scoops will make it tough to make them fit well.

Yup, they have the scoops on the top. On the lens cover thing it says "Dick Cepek" and then under that it says "baja proven"
