you are my new enemy in life... nice though, how you pull that off? I was suppossed to get a dana 44 and a 14 bolt for $100 but the deal fell through. The rear in the truck of the guy who had them started whining so he wanted it and deal was off.

The guy just had it listed in the paper for that price. I called him and talked to him for a while and found out has 4:11 and was under a running truck till he started parting it out. He also told me he has a complete 80 chevy 3/4 ton truck for $600!!!!

if the 80 is auto, it may be a 400/205.
i was told that in 80 most of the 3/4t came with 400/205's.
could turn out to be a awsom deal.

ohhhhhh how Id love to fall into a deal like that, Ill have alittle bit more time an money inot my swap but itl be well worth the effort. 38" tires are all I want with enough flex on 8"s of lift to regure trimming or fender buckling whatever comes first.

great deal, keep us posted on the swap

I don't know about where you live but can find 14's everywhere and get them for $65.00 if I pull them. Thing that suck though is I think that these places pull the Dana 60 fronts /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif I think that I may go ask some of the people that work there and see if I can get a inside track on them.

Not insane...but I got a Dana 60, good running condition with 4:10's for 500 bucks.... CANADIAN. Bwhahaaha. With the exchange rate, that works out to two elk and a beaver.
