In high school, my brother and I would argue about who was going to pay for the $1 worth of gas to get us to school for a week!!!!

    Your an ass..............
I remember the first time I ever put gas in My car when I was 16, it was the last year that we could get leaded gas and I paid $.69. Of course that was before the big tax increases and the additives that were supposed to make your car run better:rolleyes: If I recall it ran a hell of a lot better with the lead.

I remember when I first got married $20 would get me to work all week plus cover my running around as well, and that was in my Blazer.

    Yup, the good old days...........

I think when I first got my K5, it would take about $25 and that was when I was living in Cali...............................................

Now when I take the Crown Vic on the road, I'm dropping anywhere from $45 to $50 for a tank of gas, it would probably be close to double for the K5:mad:

No kiddin' I guess I'm not much help here either. The good old days for me are still in the $2.00 range, the cheapest I can ever remember is like $1.60 or so.

I am with the "dollar to get you around for a week" good old days.
I can rember times after a hard weekend of partying waking up Monday morning. with a few dollars and change in my pocket, and an empty tank.. 5.00 was plenty of money to get me back and forth to work and feed me for a week with maby a little left over for a 69 cent 6 pack or 2 of Brown Derby:D to last till Friday.
Then it was Pay Day. I could do it all over again:haha:
