Actually it is more like 77 manufacturing plants, but who's counting.

It took me about an hour of researching, but I found the money trail of Teresa Heinz Kerry Families Company. It appears that there is a conglomerate called [H.J. Heinz Co./McCain Foods Ltd.]. All acquisitions of food industry companies, such as the Anchor Foods acquisition, made recently in 1998 are handled through (in name) McCain Foods (not associated with John McCain), and not (in name) the H.J. Heinz, in order to hide the name "Heinz".

In 1998 an acquisition of Anchor Foods, with plants located in Texas and Nebraska, was made by McCain Foods; these plants where shut down and then moved to South America.

John Kerry does not want you to know this.
