I like the green, Damn Marv, you must have a boatload of green paint you're trying to use up /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif How did it turn out, better than Rob's?

BTW, right click, properties, and copy the URL into another window, you'll see the pic then.

Man it's to the point it would be eaiser to just make a tube body and screw some body pannels to it!

I know that you might think that I applied the "ugly green" paint, but that's not so.... DJ did that, cuz it was all he had... that's his story and he's stickin' to it! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

These rockers are prolly 1.5" higher than Rob's, and I did a better job of tucking the support tubes up in there so they won't get hit... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Man that looks good---did you have any issues w/ the gastank on the last bar comming off the frame---i cant tell if even there is the gas tank there, marv---it seems as if the illness you have w/ tearing up good looking trucks is contagious /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

looks good. I want to do that to the cab of my truck. do you have any close up pictures of the instal of the rockers? how did you support the body and is the floor still sealed up to keep the water and mud out?

    79',

These are the only pics that exist right now.... The floor still has some holes in it, but some quick sheetmetal work would take care of that. The main skid is 6x2x.188 wall tube which I welded directly to the body, then the braces run down to the frame and attach with a urethane spring bushing for some "give"...
This is the first pickup I've done this to.... Hardest part was moving the fuel tanks and cuttin' the old rocker out../forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

my tanks are already out of the way, so no problem there. if you can get some close up pics could you send them my way? I will probly be in touch to get more info on doing this to my truck, if thats ok.
    Thanks

I'm sure with a little modifications, you could amke a door work. Probably wouldn't be able to roll the window all of the way down though. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
