Looks good. Hey Steve, what are you using to trim the fenders, to get that nice finished edge? Give us your secret.

Can we get pics of the pass. side fender? Looks good. Steve, I think there is room for 42's under there now. You driving the UAV to the swap meet? Tim, nice work as always.

Secret is he brings it over here and I have my elves do it while he is not watching /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif I do most of the trimming with offset aviation tin snips. I prefer then to most all sawing. Lots of people dont like to use snips, but after erecting metal buildings for 10yrs I have become partial to them. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I have the bumper and pricing up on our web page. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Brian you will be amazed at the passenger fender. A 4x4, a 2x4, a crowbar, and a rubber mallet will work wonders. It looks more like a mall ding /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif instead of a rockcrawling accident now.

He's paying someone else to do it, that's why he won't tell us. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well, Tim had a little accident with my old lights, kind of dropped my old bumper on them, so I thought we would exchange the lights for Tim trimming the front fenders for me, he did an awesome job, even got most of the big dents cut off. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I need to pickup a new parking lens for the fender, old one got smashed on a rock and slap some white Krylon on it and unless it is in the sun you can hardly tell the damage was there. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Tim,

Have you ever used an air nibbler? I thought about buying one to do my future fender trim. (again)

They work good, but it will chip the paint next to the cut all the way around. Then the half moons it cuts out will get in your shoes and you track them in the house only to find them again while bare footed. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif An electric shear works well also if you use electrical tape around the cut to keep from scratching the good side.

Really Rene! I was thinking on the lines of this...

At $8.36 a gallon, its a real good deal! You can paint a whole truck with a gallon if you thin it enough with gasoline. Be careful of smoking while painting. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
