Well, I just traded my old 37" boggers (don't worry,I have new 39.5" TSLs) for this jewel. I think it's ugly as hell, but it should get 50+mpg. Now I just have to learn how to ride a motorcycle again. It's been a decade since my childhood dirtbike days. I plan on riding it back and forth to class and work until I just can't stand the cold anymore. It's a 1980 Honda CM 400 with supposedly only 3000 miles. Whatcha think?

it has been over 24 yrs since I rode a minibike, so I know if I can do it, then anyone can :p: .

BTW, is that the thing the auto version? I know Honda made a 400 that was an auto but not sure what year.

No, its a 5 spd. But I have ran across the "hondamatic" versions of this bike in my internet research about it. I hope riding a bike, is well, as the saying goes, like riding a bike. I don't think I did too bad for a set of old tires though. I just need to fix the seat (black duct tape for now), replace the tail light (a couple of bucks on ebay), and ride it. Oh, and it needs tires ($80 bucks for both at the bike shop), I think I'm gonna put some semi-knobby's on it so the back tire won't squirt out from under me on dirt roads.

It is very clean for a '80. It should be great as a DD to save gas.

I'd rather have a crotch rocket, but you've gotta start somewhere.

And the full length roof rack. You need some lights, a shovel, a highlift and an axe up there. :D
