Im turning my stock Clodbuster into a scale crawler. The stocker is 1/10 scale with 6" tall tires, The ones I just Bought ar 4-1/4 so that comes to a 42" tire on 22" wheels. Once I get my axle parts I'm going to build a frame and go from there:D

Herse a stock Clod and then the look Im going for but with the Cold Body of course :pimp:

Oooo now were in my domain! Finally I love when r.c. posts come up as it's my job and hobby for the past decade.
Oh and you didn't need a spool, you could have just JB welded the spider gears together, that's what I do and it never breaks.

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: JB lockers. r.c cars are cool but I cant even fund my real truck so a new hobby surely wont fit the bill.

    Laugh it up fuzz ball....

Really though I see many guys come in and out of the shop I work at for years asking about buying "lockers" which on r.c.'s is just a spool that eliminates the cup w/ spider gears all together. It isn't really needed though as I have always just filled the cup w/ JB Weld and it works great and is stronger than almost anything else in the drivetrain.

Oh and yeah it's way expensive. Trust me I have well over $5,000 into r.c. stuff that just seems to sit now that I have my full size truck.

    Of course there are. lol

Doing a 4 link on an r.c. (especially on a TLT or Clod) is super easy compared to doing it on a fullsize rig.
