    Bush Jobs
    More bad news about money
Here is just one article about the countries economic growth. If this administration does not come up with 360,000 jobs every month for the next three months, President Bush will be the first president to have fewer jobs at the end of his tour than at the beggening, since Hover. Why do i bring this up just to get in the other side for a change. What do i care?? Nothing i have a job with great security and will be retired in a few years, on the other hand how many post come up about i need a job? I just got laid off? You can like guns and trucks and not be a republican. Just a thought /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Do you realize that the ondition of the eonomy often changes a year or more after a sisnificant change in economic policy? The democrats screwed with one of the best peace-time economies in history until it was heading into recession. Yes guys, Bill Clinton enjoyed the tail end of Ronald Regan's economy. In fact, he rode it to re-election and then into the ground. Now I know from exerence that the next words from a good liberal's mouth will be deficits. But please remember, the democrats controlled both houses early in Regan's presidency and spent money faster than t could come in (and it came in record amounts).

The republicans and the sitting president enacted legislation that increased individuals disposable income, and in spte of the terrorists intentions created a rebound in the economy.

So do I think Bush has done a good job, YES I do. And I am scared to death of a Kerry/Edwards/Kennedy/Hillary and Bill White House.

America's economy is going down hill because so many jobs are going overseas. It is as simple as that, and there is nothing any politician can do about it. Politicians cannot, under the threat of law, force American business to keep the jobs here, there is no tax incentive big enough to change American businesses mind, and the job skill retraining option has been exhausted as well.

Every single job I have ever had, over my 20-year working career, is now being done overseas, or by illegal immigrants for minimum wage. I am a College graduate with a job that pays $23,000 a year. Four years ago, I had a job that paid me $53,000 a year. That job is now being done in India, for $85 a month (or $4420 a year).

America is facing an economic upheaval that is different from any other known in the industrial age. There will be some people that can adapt, but most will not. It is unreasonable to expect everybody in America to start their own business.

America is also facing a war different from any other known in recent history, and if America does not have a President with the constitution to kill both the guilty and innocents alike, in order to protect America from terrorism, then there will be no economy anyway.

You know what Irks me aput these people talking about the economy??? The fact that there are more forigners cominginto this county to take jobs but no one cares, and people are so worried about big business making money that they don't care if the "outsource" out of country. Or since everyone wants to save a penny they goto Wal Mart or HomeDepot instead of shopping at the local "Mom and Pop" and then complain that they cant get good service, or that people don't get paid enoug. But look at large comapnys, I took a 1 year break and went to work for Lowes I was the 2nd highest paid employee in the store at 45k a year the only person making more was the manager, the cashiers got 8 an hour and could only work 39 hours a week. now I'm at an independent yard and I make alot more than at Lowes, we have truck drivers that make alot more and can work what ever they want, we compete with Lowes, Home Depot and the 3 bigest Pro Dealers in the country and just last week we hit 2003 sales and I'm getting paid good, erhaps Northern Virginia is a bubble but you should see the loosers that come and apply for work. Its imposible to keep good help in the yard because these kids nowdays are too lazy to work, so we hire a guy from Africa and then he brings in a friend and so on and they get paid quite well.

Every Sunday I look at the classifieds that are 50 pages and think unemployment my ass, its lazyness. If people want to work MOVE, I live nowherenear TExas (where I grew up) the downside is my 1800 sq ft hous on 1/2 acre is worth 3 times my parents 4500 sqft house on an acre in town in Texas.

BTW I'm not Dmeocrat or Republican but I do value comon sense and can tell you that Bush is better for the country because I dont want the liberals stealing my money and giving it to everyone else. I guessI'm Anti-Government, Pro-Gun Anti-Socialist be responsible for your self and get a life Conservative /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

But you cant vote Libertarian because all you do is steal from the republican kind of like Nader won the election for Bush.

I would like to point out that I couldn't be a liberal or Democrat because I see the facts and don't blame everting on some one else..example...John Kerry and the Swift Bat guys...no Denial just says theyre politial, kinda like a trial lawyer getting the guilty party off on a technicality even though they did it.

That is all...sorry bout the babble but Jack is kicking in. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Oh well, i was hoping to get more reaction out of this, like i said before i have pretty good job security, the point was i get tired of people who are one party or the other for no real reason. I dont beleive to much of what is said by the different sides, most of it is lip service for a vote.

justwhatido, I'm pretty sure that what Reagon did is not why the Clinton years were better, especially since there was a four year gap from Reagon to Clinton in the form of Bush Sr.

    darkshadow, me too!!

Spence, what the hell did that mean?

1 ton, jobs are going overseas for the bottom line, money

Rich, Im with you on the work ethic of the country, it sucks for the most part, i teach teenagers everyday to do a job that they dont understand and caint be made to, i guess it will take rounds coming in for them to see that the world is not like a play station

I can also say that the only president that cost me a job was Clinton, Forced cutbacks in 92-93 got rid of my job, or in the logic of the military took it from enlisted to an officer /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The jobs were lost during the first months of the President's term. He did not even turn in his first budget until the end of that 01. Do you really think the President's first 45 days (time from inauguration to the start of the recession in March) was so horrible it made the economy dive ?

Get a CDL. I've got plenty of guys making over $50,000 per year and that's o the low side. Jobs are out there if someone is willing to go outside there current skill set.

Oh by the way, all my guys are home every weekend and usually one or two times per week.

Yep. You can hate Bush and still hate Kerry, too.

Yes there is. Get rid of labor unions so that some dumbass that does nothing but simple labor doesn't make $30 an hour. No wonder nobody can afford an American worker, they want an unrealistic wage for an unskilled job. Then when they're lazy as hell, nobody can fire them and they just sit in there position doing nothing, retired in place, until someone has the balls to fire them and then there comes the legal battle and they get re-hired anyway.

Total crap if you ask me. I've been fired from a number of jobs, two of them wrongfully, and I had another job within 48 hours. I don't know what is wrong with people today. Get your ass to work!

Heck, I gotta agree with that. I'm in process of getting some driveway quotes. The union shops seem to want about 3x what the non-union shops want. It's going to cost the union shops more, cause I can't afford them and will be giving my business to Joe Schmoe who's at least insured and can do the job... Why some company's in the same line of work are union and some are not is beyond me.
