You think gas prices are high? Well then lets put things in to perspective...

16 oz of Diet Snapple $1.20........ $10.32 per gallon
16 oz of Lipton Ice Tea $1.19...... $9.52 per gallon
20 oz of Gatorade $1.59............. $10.17 per gallon
16 oz of Ocean Spray $1.25........ $10.00 per gallon
6 oz of NyQuil $8.35.................. $178.13 per gallon
4 oz of Prpto Bismol $3.85.......... $123.20 per gallon
    7 oz Whiteout $1.39 ................. $25.42 per gallon
    1.5 oz of Scope $0.99 ............... $84.48 per gallon

    And the kicker
    9 oz of Evian $1.49 ................... $21.19 per gallon
$21.19 for a gallon of WATER! And you don't even know where it is coming from!

Good thing our trucks don't run on NyQuil /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I don't WANT perspective. I want affordable gas /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Just like last time we were going to invade Iraq, the price of gas went apeshit. Why? Bcos somebody "speculated". Speculated WHAT! There was no shortage. It's a simple equation SUPPLY and DEMAND. They gots it, we wants it. They make the rules and we keep buying it. Not trashing you Capman, just being frustrated.

Ah, it's that time of year again. This thing has got to have some of the longest life span of anything on the 'Net.

By the way, paid 2.07 a gallon for unleaded today in the Bay Area.

I was thinking about that the other day. I remember when we use to say I wish my truck ran on water. Not if it was on evian water

Exactly, You want perspective... our gas is used all the time, in great quantities, when's the last time you downed a gallon of nyquil? and even that, you ONLY use nyquil whne your sick or when you wanna get f*cked uplol.. or when have you used a gallon of whiteout? You use them in small quantities and occasionally and you use gas in large quantities all the time...you get what you pay for. its like saying, you're electricity bill gets raised 15% just for the hell of it even though there is no electricity shortage or anything.
